Intern
Got an interview through a C-level exec contact. The interview process had two rounds, with interviews happening a week apart, and each lasting over an hour. I met one-on-one with eight different team members, from former interns to senior folks. While I got a good feel for the department's vibe and culture, meeting eight people felt a bit repetitive because everyone asked the same questions. The questions were pretty standard, like discussing past jobs and experience with specific skills. They also all asked about my interest in advertising/PR and what initially attracted me to the field. The people were nice and the offices were cool, but one person made some rude jokes about my previous employer, which was unprofessional. After the second interview, I didn't hear back for three weeks. I followed up, and the next day they let me know I didn't get the job.

Intern
I connected with a team member through a mutual acquaintance initially just to chat about the business and C-K. Near the end, she mentioned they were seeking an intern for the summer and asked if I was interested. She then sent my resume to the department head, and a few weeks later, I got an email to set up an interview. I went in and met with both a senior Account Executive and a VP. In both meetings, we discussed my past experience, my ideas about the department/industry, and what I hoped to gain from the internship. About 5 days after that, I got a call offering me the position.
- If you could pick any account, what would be your dream account?
Intern
I first connected with C-K because I reached out to them. They then got back to me and set up an informational interview. The interviewer reviewed my portfolio and we chatted for a bit. About a week later, I had another interview with the person overseeing the interns. This one was quicker, they just glanced at my portfolio, we chatted a little, and then I left. Within about a week after that, I got an email saying I got the internship.
