Behavioral Case

HR reached out on LinkedIn for an initial screening call about my experience and interests. Then, I was emailed to schedule an in-person interview. I picked a Friday slot, but the HR manager rescheduled it to Monday without clear communication, causing confusion. The office environment felt very dated. I also noticed a lack of diversity and saw a controversial political item on someone's desk. They had me come back on Monday to meet the rest of the team who were out on Friday. Despite apologies and thank-you notes, I never heard back about the role after following up.

I started as an account management intern through a recent college grad program. I worked in the NY office and gained experience over the summer, and they hired me full-time after we talked about my goals and the path they saw for me. The agency is mid-sized, smaller than the big agency holding companies, with a boutique feel and notable clients.

Behavioral Presentation

I had 3 interviews in total. First was a phone call with HR, then an interview with the Account Directors & Supervisors, and finally an interview with Group Account Directors. It was really conversational because they want someone who can actually participate in a discussion, not just agree. They want you to add substance and explain why you'd be a good fit.
