I was contacted by BWX Technologies and they asked for my resume. I provided it and applied for the job. It took a month for HR to get back to me saying they were interested in an interview. Then it took 2 weeks for someone to contact me to set up the interview time. The interview itself was pretty short, only 40 minutes, which I thought was odd because they usually take at least an hour. The job posting was about supporting manufacturing, but the job in person was about maintenance. The posting didn't really match the job description. It was a formal interview with the direct supervisor, his manager, and an operations supervisor. I felt like I did a good job, but I got the impression they already had someone in mind. It's been over 3 months and I haven't heard back, so I guess I didn't get the job.

The whole process took quite a while, about 5-6 months from applying to getting an offer. First, there was a 15-minute phone chat with HR. Then, an in-person meeting with HR, followed by a chat with a lead engineer. After that, another in-person meeting with a lead engineer, and then an interview with the engineering manager. Lastly, there was an online aptitude test.
