It was a group interview with simple scenario questions. Overall it was easy. Just be you. They asked us a question as a group and everyone just chimed in to answer. I would say put yourself out there like you really want the job. For example, a girl in my group didn't answer many questions and that could've played a part why she didn't get the job.

The store was having walk-in interviews. I went, filled out an application, and then talked with the assistant manager right away. She asked standard questions about my availability, experience, strengths, and weaknesses. Right after, I talked with the store manager. We talked more about my experience and what I want in the future. They hired me on the spot. I filled out the paperwork for the background check and WOTC. Then I had orientation the next week.

Behavioral Technical Other

I had to fill out a form first with some basic info. Then they scheduled me for an interview in a week. It was a one-on-one chat. They asked about my retail experience, what I liked about my last job, and how I handle angry customers or tough situations. Then they got into specifics like lifting 25lbs, using ladders, and if I minded cleaning. Finally, they asked if I had any questions. The interview was professional and focused on personality, though I don't think I'll get an offer due to my limited retail background. I don't see why cleaning is part of a customer service role, though.
