First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Butler and Hosch.
Paralegal
I interviewed with the six team leads in the foreclosure operations division. I was asked to introduce myself and talk about my characteristics. Each team lead talked about their department and asked how my experience fit their position. After that, I met with the VP of operations.
- Can you describe your work ethic?
Litigation Assistant
It was a great experience, I actually enjoy talking about myself and my background. My resume speaks for itself in most cases, and in this case, it was a good thing! I did my best answering everything. The only hiccup was the mints in the conference room; I accidentally grabbed one and popped it in my mouth right as the interview started. So when she introduced herself and started asking questions, I could only nod or mumble because I had this HUGE breath saver in my mouth that I didn't want to chew and seem rude. It was quite an intense experience.
- In what ways can you assist our organization?
- Describe your experience working as a copywriter and editor for Orlando Regional Healthcare over the past 14 years.
- What was that experience like for you?
Legal Assistant
I found the job on Craigslist. I'm not sure how long it took for them to reach out, but I went in for an initial interview with two people. Later that day, they called me to schedule a second interview for the next day. During the second interview, I met with the attorney I'd be working for, and they extended an offer to me on the same day.
