Member Services Success Manager
I spoke with the recruiter for businessolver on August 11, and then had a second interview scheduled with a Director on August 28, which went well. After that, I was contacted to schedule a third interview with the head of the department and interviewed with her on September 3. When I didn't hear back, I followed up with the recruiter on September 12, and they finally responded on September 18, saying they'd chosen another candidate but asked if I'd consider an open Supervisor role, which paid $15K less. I sent more questions on September 19 and got a response on September 25. On September 30, I asked if the Supervisor role was filled and then met with the recruiter again on October 1. Following that, I had to interview with another director on October 14. On October 22, I was informed they'd gone with someone else for the Supervisor role. I asked for feedback to help me improve, but I haven't received any response yet. Each interview was about an hour long. For the Director interviews, other people were invited but didn't show up. I get that things happen, but interviews are also for the candidate, and I ended up wasting about 5 hours in interview time.

Project Manager
I applied in April and got an email on July 15th with questions to see if I'd move forward. I got moved to a screening call on July 16th. The next interview was with two PMs on July 22nd. After that, I had a Job Tryout on August 1st. Two days before, they sent a PDF with client info, their implementation status, and challenges. My task was to do a project status update presentation to the 'client' (the interviewers), showing how I present info. During the interviews, I also did two personality/knowledge tests. As a finalist, I had to do a fraud check and a reference check. The fraud check was simple. The reference check involved a self-survey and getting two previous managers to fill out forms. A lot of emails came from different people. After all this, I got a generic rejection email without feedback, and the same job posting was relisted multiple times, even on the rejection day. It's still up, making me question if they're actually hiring.
- Do you mind being more than just a PM and helping with testing, as this role is more hands-on?
- Are you ok with a hands-on PM position that involves helping with testing?
Account Manager
I sent in my application on 11/21/2023 and got an invite for the first recruiter video call within two weeks. It was with the lead talent consultant/recruiter and was supposed to be about 20 minutes. The recruiter mainly asked about my past job where I managed consumer directed accounts as a senior account manager and had relevant experience for this role. I got to ask about the company, the team, their DEIB stuff, and how they use empathy, which is a company value. The recruiter mentioned they were hoping for a 1/8/2024 start date. At the end, they said I'd get two assessments: Caliper (personality/problem-solving, only pen, paper, calculator allowed) and StrengthsFinder (personality test for top 5 strengths). After I finished those, the recruiter said she'd 'loop back' after talking to the hiring manager. This was two weeks before Christmas. I didn't hear back, so I followed up after 7 business days, saying I understood delays due to the holidays. I haven't heard back since, not even before the year ended. It's disappointing to be ghosted after multiple interview stages and assessments, especially when a simple rejection email would be fine. For a company that values empathy and helps others with employee engagement, their hiring process needs improvement.

Integrations Analyst
The interview experience was pretty straightforward and friendly, despite a minor issue during my first interview. It started with a video call with a recruiter, followed by a video interview with two leads who would be my close colleagues, likely my manager and team lead. If successful, the next step was a final video interview with two directors or a VP, after which an offer might be extended. I recall a personality test before the final round, which was quite straightforward. The interviews mainly focused on experience, general topics, and behavioral questions. The conversation with the team leads felt the most demanding but remained relaxed. I came prepared with many questions. Using the STAR method should help you do well!
