I was contacted by Burnett Specialists about a job in San Antonio. The first step was a phone interview, which I did great on. Then I took an assessment and was told I did outstanding. Later, I was contacted by two other recruiters from Burnett for the same job, and they both told me to do the assessment again. I told them I'd already done it, but they insisted, sending me links each time. The assessment takes about 45 minutes, so I wasted 3 hours doing it over. I got an email from the San Antonio office saying they were moving forward and would send my profile to the company. Later that same day, a recruiter from Houston emailed me saying they weren't moving forward because the assessment didn't meet requirements, even though the first recruiter said I did 'amazing.' I never heard back from the third recruiter. This whole process was a waste of time and very disappointing. There's clearly a lack of communication within the agency, and I turned down other offers based on what they initially told me. This really affected my family. I don't recommend this agency and will share my experience.

I went to their Job fair event. It was a pretty thorough process. First, there was an overview of Raytheon, then folks split into their respective fields. After that, there was a meet and greet with all the hiring managers. If they liked you, they'd set up an interview for the next day. Offers came out after that interview. The whole thing was super fast. No tricky questions like some places. The interviewers really knew their stuff and could tell if you didn't know what you were doing.

Behavioral Other

The process felt very transactional, like they were just trying to fill spots rather than build a real connection with candidates. It seems like a high-pressure sales environment focused on commission and quotas, as feedback was minimal and I didn't feel any rapport. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. It might be a lottery depending on who handles your application, possibly a personality clash, and they seem hesitant to share candidates.

I began my tenure in an administrative capacity at the Greenway office, providing support to the recruitment team and managing phone communications. Although this was initially a temporary position, it functioned as a de facto working interview before I was officially hired on a permanent basis. The hiring manager, Sue Burnett, conducted a formal interview prior to my permanent placement.
