Retail Associate
After submitting my online application, I had to set up an interview. When I got there, I had to wait a bit 'cause the manager was busy. The interview was pretty easy, they asked me about my experience and availability. I was hired right after and got the offer later that night.
- Do you have any retail experience?
- Are you able to work well under pressure?
Cashier
Interview went great but I feel I was not chosen because I am disabled and older. I have an autoimmune disorder which is why I am disabled. I hadn’t worked in over 7 years because I had issues that had to be dealt with and was taking care of my youngest daughter who had stage 4 cardiac sarcoma and passed in 2019.
- Can you tell me about your availability for different shifts?
Cashier
The interview went well and I got an offer. I was supposed to start orientation 3 days later. I was meant to get an email to set up a workday account but it never arrived. When I got to orientation and told them, they said my name hadn't shown up in the system yet. The manager told me to go home and call back the next day. I called, and they told me to just wait for the email. A week passed and still no email.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience in retail?
