Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Burgiss.
Analyst
This felt like a technical interview, but the interviewer didn't seem prepared. They didn't ask about the programming language the recruiter told me to get ready for, and the behavioral questions felt like they were just thrown in without much thought.
- Could you describe your proficiency in coding within [programming language]?
Analyst
I went through a standard screening with someone in HR, then had an interview with senior directors. They asked standard questions about my background and interest in the company. I didn't get any response after the interview.
- What is your experience in client-facing settings?
Analyst
We had a first interview that was more technical questions. If you did well, you got invited to a second interview which was a cultural fit interview. There was also an aptitude test to take before the second interview. All the interviews were done over Microsoft Teams.
- What is the definition of Internal Rate of Return (IRR)?
