It started with a phone screen and then an in-person panel meeting. Everyone was nice and casual, but still professional. They told me what they were looking for and asked if I was interested. The whole thing took less than a week.

The interview process starts with a screening call. If you pass that, you'll have a panel interview that's about an hour long. My interviewers were really engaged and asked smart questions, and they also answered my questions well. Having previous co-op experience is helpful, but showing you're passionate about the role and asking good questions is super important.

HR reached out before the interview to set a time and have me fill out an application. Then, one of the PEs led the interview with standard questions. After the interview, I met the office team and learned about their work and what I'd be doing. About a week later, HR let me know their decision.

Then, I had an in-person interview with my potential supervisor, who is a PE, and another PE who joined virtually because they were in a different location. The questions felt more like a chat than a formal interview, and they were pretty straightforward. I really connected with both engineers and felt like the job, based on my background and the expectations, would be a great match. I wish all interviews were this pleasant!
