This was the first interview, and I'm hoping to hear back about the next stage soon. It was quite casual and friendly. We discussed my background, my previous role, and my knowledge of the retail industry. They mentioned they'd make a decision and call me within a week. I was actually late for the interview, which wasn't intentional, as I got stuck in traffic, but I realize it's probably not ideal. They were understanding and said it was okay because I live far away. I was interviewed by just one person, and I wonder if it would have been different if I hadn't been late. My advice is to be confident, avoid fidgeting or appearing nervous, and take your time when answering. They really just want to get to know you!

I applied online and got a call back the next day for a phone interview. They asked me about Burberry, my current role, and clientelling. After the phone interview, they invited me to an assessment day at Burberry head office. For the assessment, I had to make a mood board about my personal style and present it to other sales role applicants. It was a good experience, but they didn't give me feedback after I was rejected.
