Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Burberry.
Merchandiser
I had a couple of casual chats over two days. First one was with HR, and the second was with the hiring manager. HR let me know about a month after the interviews that I didn't get the job.
- What motivates your interest in working for Burberry?
Merchandiser
It was a really welcoming and straightforward conversation and process. The whole thing went on for 3 steps before the final round of interviews where I met the future line manager. The HD team was very warm and professional. It didn't feel like an interview, more like a chat, and I got to choose between two positions.
- What is your motivation for joining this company?
Merchandiser
I had a good experience overall. It started with an email, then an HR call. After that, I had a phone interview with the recruiting manager, and finally an in-person meeting. HR kept me updated on feedback and next steps throughout. The whole thing wrapped up in about a week, followed by the standard paperwork.
- Tell me about your background and what you're looking to achieve in this role.
