Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Burberry.
Human Resources
The interview process was good, focusing on competence-based questions. I had a great candidate experience with timely feedback and approachable communication. There were three stages in total, including one face-to-face meeting. No tests were administered.
- Describe a situation where you resolved workplace conflict.
Human Resources
I was contacted by an internal recruiter. Then I had a first stage interview with the manager. He told me he would give me feedback within a week, even if I wasn't successful. I never got any feedback or follow-up after that. The way they treat people during selection says a lot about the company and its employees. It's clearly not a great place to work.
- Detailed questions about management.
- Detailed questions about the team.
Human Resources
It was a great experience, very inspiring, and the approach was professional and objective. The process moved quickly, even though decision-makers and interviewers were traveling; the team managed to adjust their schedules. I got a clear understanding of the role, the team structure, how collaboration works cross-functionally, and the company values.
- Could you describe your accomplishments?
- Walk me through some of your projects.
- Which systems are you familiar with?
