Worst interview process I have ever experienced. Interviewed positively up to the 3rd stage, one interviewer didn't show up, the other I built a good rapport with who told me that my skills and experience aligned with what they were looking for and it seemed to be going quite well. This was confirmed afterwards by the recruiter who told me I would have a 4th interview in the next two days and then I never heard anything else despite chasing up via email to confirm I hadn't missed anything. The recruiter ghosted me without any explanation and a week later had the audacity to add me on LinkedIn?!

I had a phone interview with the Talent Manager, which went really well - I liked her a lot! She even mentioned other roles they were hiring for if this one didn't work out. She spoke highly of my experience. The next week, I interviewed with a Senior EA and a PA. They both seemed great and really focused on personality and cultural fit. It all seemed almost too good to be true. But, I never heard back from the Talent Manager or the team. I followed up for weeks about feedback and next steps, but they ignored my emails and calls. Seven weeks later, I logged into the careers portal and saw my application was rejected. This seems to be a common issue with Burberry.

The whole thing took under 2 weeks. First, I had a formal phone interview with HR the day after applying. After that, they set up an interview with my Manager, which included an Excel test and a formula test. Finally, HR called to let me know I got the job.
