I went through 3 interviews. The first one was with a store director, then another store director, and finally line managers. It was different from typical retail interviews, involving more activities and requiring a good deal of creativity.

The manager told me I wasn't attractive enough, which is how they hire, based on looks not experience. Since then, I'm rejected immediately if I apply. I talked to HR and a recruiter said they hire diverse people. But I work at another high-end store in the same mall, and the person hired was tall, skinny, and attractive. They won't hire plus-sized people, which is a shame because I wanted to work there.

The interview experience was okay at best. The interviewers were nice people, but they didn't give me much space to show what I'm capable of and my true potential. I'm sure they'll regret not hiring me, to be honest. It's really tough finding a graduate role these days, so this outcome isn't really surprising.
