Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bupa.
Manager
The interview process was smooth and thorough. They asked me why I wanted to join the company and some real-life questions where I had to provide a solution to demonstrate my problem-solving logic and approach.
- What makes you want to join our company?
- Can you walk me through how you'd solve a real-world problem, showing your thought process?
- In what ways would you go about promoting the brand?
Senior Manager
It was a very structured interview process, starting with HR, then the line manager, followed by the department head, and finally the Group/Regional Head. This company really cares about its people, including its staff. They might ask a lot of questions about you, covering your life, your career expectations, your life priorities, and even your personal life if you're comfortable sharing.
- What makes you want to move into the Insurance industry?
Risk Manager
So besides the HR chat, there was just this one interview with the hiring manager and a senior from his team. They seemed more focused on my demeanor and communication skills to see if I'd fit in and my willingness to learn, rather than my actual experience or technical chops at the time, which was cool.
- What's prompting your departure from your present company and position, and what draws you to this role?
