I interviewed with a senior manager and a team manager who had only been in the business for 6 weeks. She seemed nervous and asked me questions that seemed like they were from Google, for a carer/nurse position. After the interview, she didn't update me on the outcome, even after I called and messaged multiple times. She eventually called back after 5-6 days and said I was unsuccessful. When I asked for feedback, she said nothing was negative and everything was perfect, but that I didn't ask about the post. This was ridiculous because I had asked about the post, team, management, and start time at the beginning.

The interview process was terrible. The manager seemed discriminatory from the start, stating I was overqualified before even reviewing my CV. After looking at my CV, she reiterated that I was overqualified but proceeded with the interview. She requested two referees at the end and said she'd inform me by Wednesday or Thursday. However, I received a rejection letter on Tuesday morning from a northland office staff member, even before my second reference check was completed. She dismissed my referee's input and made decisions based on prejudice, failing to act fairly and uphold corporate values like authenticity and accountability.
