After being selected for the process, I was sent a link to a TestGorilla assessment. This company is known for its controversial assessment methods, which lack scientific basis and produce questionable results that they don't share unless you specifically ask. Bunq refused to send me the results. Hiring a company of such low quality highlights their unprofessionalism and explains why the bank's services are declining.

So first you gotta do this personality test on TestGorilla, then a skill assessment, both take like an hour or more. They said I didn't finish them, so I had to email proof that I did. Then, an automatic rejection email, no explanation. They didn't really try, just sent out assessment links to everyone. Bad management, terrible recruiting, no respect for candidates. Don't waste your time with Bunq.

I didn't speak with anyone until the very end of the hiring process. It was all very automated. First, I completed some personality and IQ tests. Then, I had 3 days to complete an assignment involving APIs. After that, I had a brief 10-minute chat with the PM about my background. The next step was a 'Make A Difference' day where I worked on a company project for a day, given a task to complete. Their code was well-organized, and I did my best to finish the task but ran out of time. I still received an offer, likely due to my approach and how close I was to finishing, but I turned it down for a better opportunity.
