The interview process was unique, but I really liked it, and everything moved quickly. First, I took a personality test and an abstract reasoning test. Then, I was asked to answer several questions related to the position I applied for. After that, I had a personal interview with the Head of the department. Finally, there was the GSD day, where I spent a full day at their offices completing a final assessment and experiencing firsthand what it's like to work for the company.

The hiring process included a personality assessment that was similar to an MBTI but significantly modified. The questions were strictly in an 'either/or' format, forcing a choice between two extreme options without allowing for any middle ground or nuance. The usual spectrum of responses from very negative to very positive was removed. It appears they are looking for specific personality types, possibly individuals who might lack confidence but are still willing to exceed expectations despite potential workplace negativity. These could be subtle indicators that a less experienced person might overlook. On a positive note, the HR team communicated promptly, politely, and professionally.

After applying with a CV and motivation letter, I had to complete two tests: one for company suitability and one for position suitability. If these were passed, I then had an interview with the team leader. He seemed to review my CV for the first time and asked about my past experience. He concluded that someone with my history wouldn't be happy in the role and ended the 10-minute meeting, saying he'd let me know his decision. The tests were meant to gauge suitability, so it was confusing to have them if my resume wasn't a fit. This kind of process management, especially when candidates are actively looking for jobs, feels disrespectful and a waste of time. I expected better from a company that markets itself so much.
