The interview assessed my technical skills and past experiences. I felt I answered all questions well and presented my background effectively. Although I met the technical and experience requirements for the role, my alignment with the company wasn't a perfect match in the end, which meant I didn't move forward with the opportunity.

I went through an automated reasoning and English test (personality, logic, grammar, vocabulary, multiple choice). Then had an HR call. After that, I had to answer technical questions on a Google Form. Next was a tech lead call. The final step was to work for a day, dealing with real tasks. I finished all steps up to step 5, which took me 2 months. The tech lead said HR would let me book time for step 5. However, a week later, HR told me the position was filled. They didn't even wait for other candidates who were already in the interview process to finish, even though they were technically competent. It was a total waste of my time.

The interview went in several stages: first, an abstract reasoning test, so better google it and prepare. Then a personality test on a third-party resource, seems like it doesn't affect anything. After that, an interview with HR, prepare for questions like why you want to work there and be honest about salary expectations as you can't negotiate later. Next, a home assignment, a simple frontend app that can be as sophisticated as you want. Then, an interview with the team lead, basically the same questions as HR, plus you get to know about projects and code practices. Finally, a trial day, another test assignment done in the office. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly environment, contrary to bad reviews. They called the next day with an offer, but the salary is too low and not negotiable, so I'll likely decline.
