The interviewer was super nice, even apologizing for a time mix-up because of an emergency. He knew his stuff and asked really deep questions about my creative process and what I want to do in my career. We chatted for about an hour. It was really professional but also chill and fun. His follow-up emails were also great and informative. I then talked with the Art Director for the role, and they were also really friendly and knew a lot about what we were discussing. I didn't get the job because of some unexpected layoffs at Bungie, but honestly, it was a fantastic interview process, probably the best I've ever had.

This company has a pretty long interview process, which makes sense since they're an established company and have procedures for hiring. First, I got an art test that I worked on for about 1-2 weeks, with no real deadline pressure. After that, I had a phone screen interview. The interviewer was really nice and made it feel very relaxed. Then, I was invited to interview with the Hiring Manager. The time between the art test and hearing back from the HM interview was about 2 weeks. I didn't get the job, but I think it's because I'm not very experienced with interviews. The hiring manager was friendly and easy to talk to. The only downside was waiting 2 weeks after the HM interview to hear back, and I had to follow up myself. After I followed up, I got the decision within a few days.

The interview process included a general chat and some simple technical questions. They didn't review my portfolio; instead, they focused on my demeanor and appearance to see if I'd be a good team fit, basically looking for a certain type of person.
