The whole thing went on for more than a month. First, I had a call with HR. Then, the Hiring Manager interviewed me. After that, I got a take-home assessment to complete in 24 hours. To wrap it up, I had one last interview. It then took another 2 weeks to hear back and find out they picked someone else. I think giving an assessment is pretty silly when my portfolio already shows what I can do.

The initial screening felt disorganized from the start. The recruiter who reached out for the interview wasn't prepared for our discussion and lacked understanding of the role, seemingly just going through the motions. This interaction alone made me reconsider working for the company.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. Even though I applied for an IT Support role, they were more interested in understanding my personality. They checked my IT knowledge and also my fit with the company culture. Everyone I met was friendly and encouraging. I had to do one interview from my car because I couldn't leave work early, and they totally got it and even shared similar experiences! Honestly, the whole interview setup gets a perfect score.

The interview process was super easy and went well. Everything from setting up the interview to finishing it was communicated clearly and organized. The interview was chill, and the questions felt like they made sense and led to a natural chat. The interviewers were nice and professional, making it a comfortable vibe to share my thoughts and experiences. All in all, it was a quick and not stressful process, which left me feeling good about it.
