For the cashier job, I showed how well I can do transactions, fast and correct. I also used my communication skills talking to customers, answering questions quickly and making sure they had a good time.

I applied online, but a friend who worked there told the Store Owner I was looking for a job, so he asked me to come in that day for an interview. It was your basic minimum wage job interview process. I was interviewed by both the Store Owner and Store Manager, and I also got to meet current employees when I met for my interview.

I applied as a high school student and then got a phone call asking about my availability, languages, and hour expectations. I got an email for an interview with the Franchise Owner, which was in the morning during the week to avoid crowds. My interview was a bit over 15 minutes long. She asked me about my references and said she'd call them after the interview, depending on how I did. She told me I did great, and then didn't even end up calling my references. I got a job offer a few hours later and was able to start on a day that worked for me, allowing me to go to CNE the day before. They also have a new training program that started in August 2015, with a new approach and a booklet of interview questions and example answers.
