I had to do a take-home test which they gave me a good amount of time for. Then, I presented the results of that test to two design leads. After that, they asked me to do a whiteboarding exercise where I had to design a specific thing.

The hiring manager was super arrogant. Left alone in a room after the interview with no handshakes. I don't know if it was mind games, but I won't fall for it. It felt like I was just wasting their time, even though I know they have plenty.

So I had to do this test before the interview, which was like doing a usability test with someone specific. I also had to send my portfolio and the test results. But then in the interview, the managers were super rude, saying I wasted their time and I was dumb. I know I messed up and maybe wasn't the best fit, but I really tried hard and spent money on it. The participant criteria were so narrow, I had to pay someone to do it since none of my friends fit. I was jobless then, so that was tough.
