I applied for the Customer Love Rep position via a temp service. They had me do an initial screening, which included a typing test with a 45 wpm requirement, and they asked for my most recent resume. My info was sent, but it took a while since I applied on the last day, so I had to be moved to the next training class, which opened applications two weeks later. I got a call back saying Build-A-Sign wanted to interview me the following Monday. I arrived super early and answered questions about my experience and availability. Within 10 minutes of leaving, the agency called with the job offer. I accepted and gave my info for a background check, along with my training dates and contact details.

I really liked the hiring and interviewing process. It seemed like it was set up to be good for both the candidate and the company, because they followed a clear schedule and had a set list of tasks. The best part was that after my in-office interview, they said they would call me no matter what their decision was, which I don't think is very common. It was very considerate. The interview process was also very practical. It wasn't just about sitting at a random desk and talking to strangers. It was about really understanding who Buildasign.com is and what they expect from you as a Customer Love Representative.

I sent in my resume and cover letter, then I had to do a typing test based on WPM. After that, I had a phone interview. Once I passed that, the final interview was in person. I was pretty nervous but I do like a good challenge with problem solving, which sounds like this job. I also really like working in a call center setting because it's social and I get to help people, and also vent with coworkers sometimes.
