The interview process had three parts. The first interview involved questions about my previous jobs, preferences, and customer service experiences (both good and bad). I also filled out a form with adjectives describing me. They inquired about my personal style, shopping habits, how I stay updated on fashion, and my observations on current versus past fashion trends. Additionally, I was presented with clothing items and asked to evaluate them from a buyer's perspective (pass or buy). The second interview required me to select items from a rack, categorizing them into those likely to sell quickly, slowly, or not at all, and to justify my selections. The third interview was an overview of the role, and after they offered me the job, I was given a manual to read.

I went into the store and applied in person by filling out a quick form that asked for my previous employers, how I had heard about Buffalo exchange, etc. They called me about 3 days later, and asked me to come in for an in-person interview. I was informed that Buffalo Exchange's hiring process consisted of three in-person interviews. In the first two interviews, I was asked a lot of questions that didn't seem necessary for the job. The third interview was just checking if my availability had changed and a job offer.
