First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Buckeye Better Business Consulting.
Account Representative
It's a three-round interview process. The first interview is super quick, only about ten minutes. The second round is way more in-depth and it's a lunch interview that lasts about two hours. The interviewer really laid out what the company is about. It's a management-training program, which is awesome if you want to move up to management. But, the entry level is 100% commission, so you gotta have a strong work ethic because you're basically writing your own paycheck. I'm cool with that because I always work hard. I got asked some tricky questions, like what was the last book I read. I think they wanted to see if I'm still willing to learn. The final round is the shortest, just about five minutes. The hiring manager asked me what makes me stand out from others. Overall, it was a good experience; it's different, not too stressful, and kind of fun.
- How would your previous manager characterize you?
- Tell me about a significant challenge you successfully navigated in the last year.
Account Representative
The interview process has 3 parts: a 10 minute interview, a lunch interview, and a final small interview. This company is pretty unique. If you're a college grad, don't bother. It's a promote-from-within company where you start at $200/week. It's door-to-door sales, 100% commission. You'll work like 11:30 am to 7:30 pm or later every day. Even when you get promoted, you'll still be doing the same weird hours and door-to-door sales.
- Tell me about your greatest strength.
- What do you consider your biggest weakness?
- What's the last book you read?
Account Representative
The reception staff was really nice and friendly, which helped calm my nerves. The first interview was very short, but the second one provided much more information and asked detailed questions about my past work experience. The office environment felt a bit overwhelming initially, but once I started working there, I saw the advantages of all the energy.
- What makes you stand out from other candidates?
- What is your reason for wanting this job?
