First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BryterCX.
Software Engineer
I went through two interviews. First, there was a phone screen. Then, I had an on-site interview. The on-site was a panel interview where I had to code in front of them, and the code needed to pass unit tests. The people were smart, and it was an open bullpen setup. The office itself was a bit rundown.
- The coding test was the hardest part, but not by much.
Software Engineer
This was the worst interview experience I've ever had, very unprofessional and rude at times. One interviewer left mid-conversation for a personal matter and then returned, interrupting the other interviewer, to ask me to solve a coding challenge on Microsoft Teams. It was a horrible experience, mostly technical questions that felt like an interrogation. The backend interviewer seemed unhappy with his role, which was apparent in how he spoke.

Software Engineer
A recruiter reached out to me and we had a brief email exchange about my skills and experience. After that, I had a phone interview with HR, which was mostly behavioral. Unfortunately, I was rejected by HR because they said I didn't have professional experience in the 'X' language, even though I had experience with it, just not in a professional setting.
- Could you tell me about your skills and experience?
- What professional experience do you have with language X?
- Do you have experience with language X?
