Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brunswick Group.
Account Director
I had a screening call, then two interviews with team members, and also a writing assignment. The interviews and writing test were quick initially (under 3 weeks). Then I was ghosted by the recruiter and never got a response about my writing test.

Account Director
We had a pretty thorough interview process, including a writing test and several meetings. A couple of these meetings were with senior staff, but most were with people who would be my colleagues if I got the job. The interviews themselves weren't very structured, feeling more like casual chats to get to know each other than formal evaluations.
- What kind of reading material do you engage with?
Account Director
I got hired through a recruiter. First, there was an HR interview with the usual CV based questions. Then a written test where I was given an hour to read through a coverage pack and write a press release/short Q&A. After that, an assessment day with 4 interviews with various levels, a mix of CV and scenario based questions. The final round had 2 interviews with partners, which was more of a personality check/general chat.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Brunswick?
- What are your thoughts on some recent news stories?
- How would you handle a situation like X?
