Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brunswick Group.
Advisor
I interviewed at Brunswick Group and was disappointed with the professionalism and communication. The recruiter said the role would be finalized by the end of the week, but in the interview, they said mid-next week. I had to chase for an update, which made it stressful. One of the two senior managers I was supposed to meet didn't show up because she was 'stuck in a meeting,' and they didn't reschedule. This felt unfair as other candidates probably met both. The feedback was generic. The process felt impersonal and dismissive, not 'people-first.' I have a poor impression of their internal communication and respect for candidates.
- What are your aspirations for your next position?
Consultant
2 interviews of 45 minutes each, using a good cop/bad cop approach. One interviewer tries to put you off balance, the other tries to make you feel comfortable. They ask questions about your motivation, your resume, and then you have to think about practical cases.
- Why did you choose Brunswick over other agencies?
Senior Consultant
The interview process was very ad hoc, happening after I reached out to the company. It was fine overall, allowing me to make my case and asking good questions.
