First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brown Smith Wallace.
Intern
This was a panel interview, meaning I met with several people from the team and some from other departments. It felt a bit intimidating, but it was a really good way to get to know the team. Plus, it was excellent practice for future roles here or elsewhere.
- Tell me about the biggest challenge you've encountered.
Intern
My internship interview started with a chat with a partner and a manager. After that, I had lunch with two staff members. Then, I met with a manager and a supervisor, and finally, I interviewed with the head of the department.
- Could you tell me why you're interested in working for our firm?
Intern
The interview had two parts. First, I interviewed at my college with an HR person and a non-HR person from BSW. The second interview was at the main BSW office and included a lunch where I was interviewed by partners and employees from a department HR thought would be a good fit. The interview environments made me feel comfortable and relaxed.
- What are BSW's core values and which one resonates most with you?
