Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brown Gibbons Lang.
Summer Analyst
The interview process had 3 rounds and took place online over a few weeks. The first round was a quick 15-minute screening. The second round was more technical and behavioral. I didn't get to the final superday (third round).
- What is the most critical financial statement?
Analyst
The interview process was good and pretty easy, but not hard. If you like industrial-focused deals, definitely apply here, but I didn't end up taking the offer. Also, the office locations weren't the most desirable.
- Can you explain how to perform a Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis?
Analyst
The interview process started with two phone screens, one with an analyst and another with HR. There was a dinner the night before the super day. The super day itself consisted of two interviews, each with a panel of two interviewers, comprising one associate and one MD. The interviews were primarily behavioral, with a few easy technical questions included.
- Could you tell me about your experience at XYZ?
