Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brown & Brown.
Producer
The interview process involved three separate interviews spread out over more than a month. I got to meet everyone on the team during one-on-one sessions, which was nice.
- Can you share some of your previous experiences?
Producer
The interview process felt really disorganized. The interviewer asked me what I wanted to discuss and my salary expectations, then just said they'd send over a personality test to schedule the next interview. I never got the test, and I ended up taking a job with a competitor.
- What would you consider to be your desired base salary
Producer
Met with a recruiter at an insurance conference and had an on-the-spot interview. Later, I had another interview in person at a local coffee shop. Both interviewers were really nice and professional and seemed to care about my growth. The second interview was pretty relaxed, aimed at getting to know me and figuring out what positions would be a good match.
- What drives you to succeed?
- Can you explain what loyalty means to you?
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
