First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brown & Brown.
Intern
Overall, the interview process was good. I had two rounds of interviews, and communication between them was clear. The interviews were mostly behavioral and focused on my background. It's important to be able to talk about your experience and to have your own questions ready.
- Can you tell me about Brown & Brown?
Intern
The process was pretty short, with just one in-person interview round. They really wanted to know about my past industry experience and also get a feel for my personality to see if I'd vibe with the team and company culture. I felt pretty chill during the interviews and like I could just be myself.
- Can you tell me about any previous experience you have in the insurance industry?
- In what ways has your degree in risk management and insurance been beneficial to you?
Intern
The hiring process took over two months because the boss was too busy to deal with interns. I applied with enthusiasm and it still took them two months before I was hired as an intern.
- Are you able to read a financial statement?
- Do you think you would enjoy working in the insurance industry?
