Account Manager
I got a call from the recruiter, they liked my insurance experience and wanted to talk to me at their Tallahassee, FL office. I had a phone interview, and was recommended to do a personal interview. I did a second interview, which led to a third interview with another manager. I ended up going to a fourth interview with the company back with the first manager. They decided not to hire me because they were worried I would leave them for another job, and I have held my current job for 10+ years. I'm okay with not getting the position, but I wish it didn't take them 4 interviews to figure that out, so be aware this could happen if you interview for this particular office.
- Tell me why you applied for this position.
- What are your long term career goals?
- What salary are you looking for?
Account Manager
My friend who works there gave me a referral so I applied for the Account Manager role. I received a call several weeks later and we did a phone interview. That lasted for about an hour and was later scheduled for an in person interview. The office rescheduled the date and time of the in person interview several times. Once I came in for the interview 2 people interviewed me. There after they asked me to take a short technical test on situational insurance incidences and terms. I was told that they would personally review the test with me right after I finished it, but never did. I was sent home and told that I would received a phone call the next day to go over the results. I never heard back from anyone.
- What makes you want this job?
- Are there parts of the job description that you think might be tough for you?
- How do you make sure customers get great service?
Account Manager
I applied online and then had a phone interview. About a week later, I got a call and was asked to come into the office for an in-person interview. The recruiter was really responsive and easy to deal with, giving me good directions to the office and letting me know what to expect when I got there.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Who are you?
