Tutor

- Could you discuss your experience teaching students?
Tutor
The interview process felt tailored, honest, and comfortable. The people were very nice and professional. The interview style was direct and clear, focusing on student interaction. The only downside was it took months of communication to even get the interview.
- What strategies would you use to work with a student who is having difficulties?
Tutor
I inquired about open tutor roles and was immediately given an on-the-spot math assessment. I did well on it since it covered basic algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. My boss reviewed my assessment, said I performed well, and hired me right away. After that, I tutored in all subjects of math and sciences.
- Were you asked basic calculus problems?
- Were you asked trig problems?
