Case Manager
The interview process involved a 40-minute discussion with an interviewer who used a form for standard questions, focusing on self-motivation, organization, and conflict resolution. This was followed by a 45-minute writing sample and an Excel worksheet.
- Can you share an instance where you had a disagreement with a colleague and how you managed the situation?
Case Manager
The interview process was great, with questions that really tested my experience and lots of chances for me to ask my own questions. I got hired as a case manager. It's a lot of work, but it's the job that helped me find my passion for social work.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with diverse cultural groups?
Case Manager
I had two interviews with about 2-3 managers for the program. They also gave me a short writing task about a made-up client situation and how I'd handle it. After those interviews and a quick chat with the Program Manager, they did a background check and contacted my three references. The whole thing was professional and well-organized, not too stressful.
- What makes you want this job?
- In what ways can you demonstrate cultural competence?
- What are your strategies for engaging clients?
