IC Design Engineer
The interview process was as expected, with multiple rounds. Overall, it was a good experience. It starts with a phone screening, followed by an onsite interview. The interviewers were nice and knowledgeable. It seems like the experience might also vary depending on the specific group you're interviewing with.

Physical Design Engineer
Basically, there's a preliminary interview to see if you're a good fit. Then, your first interview is a face-to-face with the hiring team. If they like you, you'll have a second interview. After that, there might be more interviews with peers and executives. Then they do reference and background checks. If all goes well, you get a job offer.

I applied online through the Broadcom website. I was then asked for a phone screening interview. The interview lasted for about an hour. The team was looking for a new college grad with some previous technical experience. The minimum age of experienced person in the team was 3 years. It was all technical.
