Went through campus interview first. Nice and friendly people. Was invited to irvine for a day interview. Very professional admin stuff. They have their own travel department who issued tickets. Was very nice to let me stay in LA for a week (without hotel obvs). Hotel was excellent, preferential treatment with free parking, internet and room service credits. The interviews in Irvine HQ was with 7 people!!!!!!! Lots of repeat questions, not entirely sure what more they get out of the person compared to 3 45 min interviews besides the ability to handle coffee. Interviewers very friendly though, half chat half technical questions. In the end, it was an amazing company but a very disappointing position. Seems to be geared for nerdier people who want to settle and have no entrepreneurial aspirations or competitive drive. Average time to manager role: 10 years.

Sent my Resume to my friend, who forwarded it to his Manager. I got a mail from the Manager asking for the times when I am free to have a quick Interview. Got a confirmation mail regarding the Interview date. It was a 45 minutes Phone Interview, which was basically a round of Technical Interview mostly related to verilog. The Interview should go fine as far as you remember stuff from your projects and especially the verilog commands. Few more, but am not able recall all of them... All the Best! :)

I got the job through an employee referral. The whole thing took about 10 days. I interviewed at Broadcom back in July 2015. They called me for a first interview over the phone. It was just one interviewer and went for about two hours. They asked about my projects and some logic design stuff. They really dug into my projects to see if I knew them inside out and how my partner and I split the tasks, focusing on what I did. I got the feeling the interviewer cared more about my grades than my answers.
