Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Broadcom.
Business Analyst
This was a pretty standard interview process with 2 rounds. They really looked at my resume, education, and skills. HR was good about giving updates and staying in touch. There were some technical questions and scenario-based questions.
- Can you describe your past work projects and the results you achieved?
IT Analyst
It was a pretty standard interview process. First, there was a phone interview with HR. Then, an onsite interview with both HR and the IT department. I don't have much more info to add, it was quite standard.
- What makes you want to join Broadcom?
Business Systems Analyst
I had a phone screen with HR, then another phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by two on-site interviews. The on-site interviews involved meeting with the hiring manager, HR manager, senior manager, a team member, the director of the team I might join, and the senior director of the team. I also spoke with a manager from a team I would likely interact with. It was mostly behavioral and situational questions about the problems they're currently facing. Broadcom hires smart people, and their process shows they want to keep it that way.
- Considering the scenario presented, what metrics would you suggest?
