Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty smooth. It started with a recruiter call where we talked about my experience. Then there were some technical questions about Javascript data manipulations using HashMap, and I also had to solve a LeetCode medium problem. The whole thing took about two weeks.
- Could you explain some Javascript questions related to data manipulation with HashMaps?
- Describe how you would analyze two datasets to address specific queries regarding their join and subsequent display on an HTML page.
- Complete a LeetCode medium difficulty problem.
Software Engineer
The interview process for this role is quite extensive, involving seven distinct rounds. It begins with a recruiter screen lasting about 20 minutes, followed by a one-hour interview with the hiring manager. Next, candidates are expected to complete a take-home assignment estimated to take 4-5 hours. After that, there's a one-hour technical interview, a 30-minute design interview, and a 30-minute leadership interview. If you successfully navigate these stages, the final round is a 30-minute meeting with the rest of the team. In my case, the leadership decided the position wasn't a good business fit before the team meeting, making that last interview unnecessary and a waste of time for everyone involved.

Software Engineer
So, first there was a recruiter screening, then a 45-minute call with the hiring manager. After that, there were three more virtual onsite interviews. Honestly, it was pretty disappointing how I got ghosted after all those interviews. I even followed up a couple of times, but no response. Not cool at all. It's important to give candidates some closure, even if it's a rejection.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Are you open to a hybrid work arrangement?
- Can you discuss your past projects?
