You’ll start with a call from the recruiter, then you’ll have an interview with two people from the leadership team. It’s all one interview round, and they mostly ask behavioral questions, so be ready to give specific examples using the STAR method.

I applied online a while back but didn't get an interview. Months later, I got an email about new openings and reapplied. A few days after that, they called to set up a phone interview. The interviewer was a bit late, which was a sign. The phone interview went okay, and they asked me to come in the next day for an in-person interview. I got there early as they asked. The email didn't say who I'd meet. Two people interviewed me, and they were late again. When they finally came, they said they didn't expect me and didn't have my resume. I gave them a copy. We had to wait for the second interviewer. The questions were standard, asked in STAR format, and lasted about 30 minutes. One interviewer "found" my resume mid-interview. Then there was a written part: a paragraph on "why you want to work here" on a Word doc. It took about five minutes. I wasn't sure if it was over. One interviewer came back, asked if I was done, then left again. Two new people came in and asked more questions, like a quick interview. Two days later, I got an email saying they picked other candidates. I'm more annoyed about the wasted time than not getting the job. It was super unprofessional and weird. I won't apply there again.

You apply on the Farmers Insurance website. First, there's a phone chat with HR, then an in-person interview. Dress sharp and be ready, it's your only shot. You'll meet 2-3 supervisors for a chat that's mostly about your past experiences. If they like you, you'll hang out with an employee while they talk to the branch manager about you. Then, you'll meet the branch manager, who might try to intimidate you to see how you handle it. After that, they'll let you know they're considering you and you'll wait for a call about the next steps. I got an offer two days later from a senior supervisor. The pay was a bit less than I hoped, and they're tough negotiators, so don't try to haggle too much unless you're a pro salesman. If you accept, the background check takes about 3 weeks to a month. Then, congrats, you're in!
