So I came in and talked about my sales history, but then the interviewer mentioned that the Customer Service Representative position I was actually supposed to interview for is only available after you get a sales position within the company. It seems like they bring you in for one role but then talk about a different one. Oh, and the Sales position is commission only. I also brought up the email we discussed.

I was headhunted for this gig, didn't even apply. Got super minimal info beforehand, no real job description or anything, just the title. Figured I'd check it out. Honestly, felt like a total waste of my time. The first call, I asked if it was full-time salary, and they said yes. Showed up early for the interview, and there were like 20 other people waiting. Waited almost 2 hours past my scheduled time, and when I finally got in, the interviewer asked really basic stuff, nothing deep about my experience. Just surface-level questions like 'Why do you want to work here?'. Then, right at the end, after like 15-20 mins, she drops the bomb: 'Oh, and this is commission-based to start, but can become salary later.' Unbelievable. I would never have bothered if I'd known it was commission-based from the start. The person who contacted me basically lied when I asked directly about commission. So, if you're cool with commission, go for it. If you're looking for a full-time job, don't waste your time.

The interview experience was okay, though the interviewer was a bit strange and off-putting. The main part of the interview involved a presentation about the pay and available positions. It wasn't particularly impressive.

The hiring process typically involves 2-3 interviews, depending on the candidate. My first interview was over the phone due to scheduling constraints. It was with an HR recruiter and focused on my character and management style. After that, I had an in-person interview with the hiring director. This second interview covered questions about my management style and my past personal, professional, and educational experiences, focusing on how they make me a good fit for the role (basically, selling myself). I received an offer within 24 hours of finishing the second interview.
