First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brink's, Incorporated.
City Manager
I applied online and heard back about a week later. First, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Then, there was a face-to-face interview. After that, I spoke with an HR rep and the VP of the west. I felt the interviews went well. About a week later, I was asked to do a skills test. The following week, they initiated a background check. They mentioned that if it cleared, I'd get an offer on Friday. The background check was clear. However, I didn't hear back for over a week. My emails and calls weren't returned. Eventually, I got an email saying they were 'holding off' on hiring for this role. I would have rated the experience higher if the communication had been better.
- How do you develop your team?
Supervisor
I went through 3 interviews for this job. Two were phone calls and the last one was in person. They asked me what shift I preferred, and I said the first one. But when I went in for the face to face interview, they changed it to the second shift. The whole thing took about 4 weeks. I was told someone would call me to let me know if I got the job, but that never happened.
- Would you be okay with having a tough talk with someone on your team?
Operations Manager
I had two interviews. The first was with the GM, and the second was with the VP. The questions asked were pretty basic. It didn't seem like there was a set process or specific questions they had to ask. It was mostly about my past experience. Both interviews felt very casual. Talking to other people later, I learned this was pretty typical for them.
- Can you describe a situation you felt proud of?
