The interview process was very similar to what others have described. The company itself was interesting to learn about, and the people I met were very nice. The actual interviews weren't too difficult. However, when it came to the offer stage, they offered less than the salary range stated in the job description, and they wouldn't negotiate at all. This made the whole experience feel like a waste of time, with several red flags appearing during the offer process. During the initial recruiter screen, I mentioned that the advertised range would work, assuming the offer would be somewhere in the middle, not at the very bottom or even below it. It's important to be clear about your compensation expectations upfront to avoid wasting your time.

I went through the interview process for their software engineer position and thought it went pretty well. It all took about a month to complete. The interview process felt a bit lengthy, but the Brigit team was really professional and kept me in the loop. I had to push back the final interview a few times, and they were cool about it. They did a 30-minute presentation about Brigit at the end and then went over the offer. I ended up taking another job, but the folks there seemed legit and knew their stuff.

This was a long process and a waste of time. It started with a phone interview where I had to debug and fill in logic. Then, there was a 1-hour behavioral round, followed by a take-home frontend project. The onsite involved a deep dive into the project, a basic system design question, and a frontend project interview. I felt the frontend interviewers were arrogant and not engaged, and one didn't seem to have strong engineering skills.
