The interview process was awkward and dysfunctional. I was applying to a role in SF when I was living on the east coast. I had my first round interview beginning of November. I thought it went very well but didn't hear back for three weeks. I attempted to follow up with no such luck. I received an email 3 weeks after my initial screening call when the person I originally spoke with reached out to tell me that they wanted to move me forward but weren't going to offer me a moving stipend. I said that wouldn't be an issue, I was incredibly excited about the role and I want to move forward. That was over a week ago and I still haven't heard anything back. It's been a MONTH and I have only had my first round screening call. Incredibly dysfunctional and unorganized process.

I was contacted by a recruiter about two years after applying, which felt odd since there was no job posting online. We then scheduled a call with the customer success management team. It became clear they aren't actually hiring or offering employment/compensation; they just want market research from CS managers to improve their own program. They got defensive when I asked if they were hiring and mentioned the lack of a posting. The biggest red flag was the request for a lengthy assessment, likely for their own use. It seems like they're advertising a fake job to get free creative input and time.

It started with a recruiter call, then I had 3 more interviews one on one. The hiring manager and two teammates interviewed me. All of these were elimination rounds. The final round was a presentation to everyone who interviewed me before.
