The interview process was really something, with interviews scheduled at odd hours like 1am, 2am, or as early as 6am. During each round, they kept asking if I was okay with working late hours and talked a lot about it. I went through 5 rounds, including an assessment, only to be rejected. My second round didn't go well, and although they could have ended things there, they proceeded with three more rounds just to ultimately say no.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The interview process started with an on-campus interview featuring two technical questions. After that, there was a 48-hour code challenge where I had to build a web crawler. This was followed by a phone interview that was mainly behavioral, focusing on my interest in the company and my willingness to work long hours. The final stage was an on-site interview which included two technical interviews in the morning covering databases and data structures, and a large programming task in the afternoon, similar to the code challenge, involving building a page fetcher and parser. An offer was extended a few days after the on-site.

Coding Technical Behavioral

They started with a 2-day project where I had to write a web crawler. Then there were two video interview rounds. Initially, the plan was to do the technical interview first, then the behavioral one. However, the technical interviewer was unavailable, so they apologized and switched to the behavioral interview first. The product manager was really nice and made me feel comfortable. After that was the technical interview, but some questions were a bit unclear and they didn't have me do any coding, which was strange. Overall, it was an alright experience. They didn't ask anything like what was posted on Glassdoor. A week later, I heard they were applying 'higher measurements of scrutiny to each candidate'.
