First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brightedge Technologies.
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was very quick, almost rushed. It felt a bit deceptive because the final interview was in-person at a small WeWork office. They gave only one week to decide on the offer and seemed desperate to hire young, inexperienced college graduates who might be unaware of the less-than-ideal pay.
- What makes you want to work in sales?
- What is your main motivation?
SDR Manager
The interview process was not good. An external recruiter contacted me about the role and I had to follow up with them multiple times to schedule the initial meeting. The call was rescheduled several times. I spoke with the hiring manager for about an hour, but I never heard back from BrightEdge or the recruiter. The recruiter had given me incorrect information about the in-office policy; they said 3 days, but BrightEdge insisted on a minimum of 4 days. They seemed to be looking for a top-tier SDR Manager but had a very low value for recruitment experience. It felt like they were unsure of what they were actually looking for. I'd advise staying away to avoid wasting your time.
- Could you describe your management approach?
Sales Development Representative
Got a message from a recruiter on a handshake and we set up a phone call that went really well, they let me know about the next steps. Took the assessments and passed, make sure to take these seriously. Attended a virtual zoom which was super informative and really nice to learn more about the company. Had a role-play interview with a manager in Cleveland and he was great! Unfortunately, did not make it through the entire process but felt like the interviews were well set up and my recruiter was super helpful the entire time. Hope one day to reapply and work here.
