The interview process was long and extensive. It consisted of a phone interview with a recruiter, then a phone interview with a sales manager, then a webex to do a mock presentation of the company and product, if you did well on this you took an analytical test, then moved on to another phone interview with the VP, then another phone interview with the President, and finally a face to face with the sales manager. All the while talking over the phone with the recruiter almost daily. I was told to follow up on all of my interviews with well written emails and I, of course, did. The process took a month and took away a TON of time from my current position. This raised flags with my current employer who asked why I was "distracted". The recruiter continued to make me feel like I had the job so this is why I worked so hard interviewing. When they called to tell me after my 7th interview that I did not get the position, I asked several times for the feedback in writing which I never received. The reasons for not hiring were all reasons they knew about me upfront which I found frustrating. A week later another recruiter reached out to me asking me to call in regards to an AE position, so I did. They had NO IDEA I just went through a 3 week interview process and ended up not moving forward. They didn't even address THEIR mistake which I think is unprofessional. They are an extremely pretentious company!

I was invited to the office for a full day of interviews. During the day, I got to understand the different roles people play in the hiring process. I also had to complete a brief assessment focused on SEO knowledge.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was first contacted by a recruiter about a role, but it turned out to be different once interviews started. After an initial phone screen, there were three more interviews, the last of which was a mock sales call. The whole interview process took about 4.5 hours. It was kind of frustrating because the job I was recruited for wasn't the actual job I was interviewing for, which caught me off guard after a few rounds. I put a lot of time into preparing and the interviews themselves, and it was disappointing to get ghosted in the end, even after trying to follow up. Overall, a pretty average interview experience.
