First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BrightCurrent.
Sales Specialist
After submitting my application online, I got a call from them the very next day. We spoke for around ten minutes, and they set up a Skype interview for the following day. The Skype interview lasted about an hour. The interviewer was quite friendly and helped me feel comfortable, even when I had some technical difficulties. However, the post-interview process felt really unprofessional. I wasn't given the interviewer's email, so I had to search online to find it to send a thank-you note. She didn't reply to my thank you, so I had no idea if she got it. I contacted HR multiple times to get her email but got no response. The worst part is they said I'd hear back within 48 hours, but it took at least a week and a half!
- What are your career goals for the next two years?
Sales Ambassador
I applied online for the San Jose job. This startup has amazing branding online, which they continued through the interviews. The hr head was really nice and made me feel comfortable. The interview wasn't tough, it was more like an open conversation to see if I was the right fit and if the job was right for me. I appreciated the straightforward approach. The whole thing took just one week from applying to getting an offer, which is super fast, but I guess that's how startups work and I'm glad they didn't leave me waiting.

Sales Ambassador
I submitted my resume on the company website, and they got back to me quickly. The whole process took less than a week. I had a Skype interview with someone, and they offered me the job just two days after that. I found out about the role from a friend who works there and really liked it.
- We did some role-playing exercises where I acted as the customer, and the hiring manager took on the role of the salesperson.
- Tell me about areas where you think you could improve.
- What are your strengths?
Solar Ambassador
Had a primary phone interview, about 20 mins, with basic questions. Then a secondary Skype interview, about 45 mins, with more in-depth questions. The whole thing was pretty straightforward. After the Skype call, I got an offer and took it. The following week, I went in for about 3 days of training.
